Luciana Corrêa, Professor at the School of Dentistry, University of São Paulo (USP), was born in August 1972 in São Paulo, Brazil. She graduated from the School of Dentistry – USP in 1994, and participated in a post-graduate program from 1995 to 2001, when obtained a Doctorate title. Nowadays she is the Head Professor at the Pathology Department, and responsible for the Experimental Pathology Lab. She mentored more than 20 Master of Science, Doctorate, and Pos-Doc students, with studies related to tissue repair, mainly oral mucosa and bone repair, and photobiomodulation. She is the author of more than a hundred scientific articles and dozens of books/chapters. Prof. Corrêa also is dedicated to developing learning models in Pathology involving augmented reality and artificial intelligence.
