FOMM 2025 Annual Report

Greetings from Prof. Zhi-yuan Zhang, Prof. Jia-wei Zheng, Prof. Chenping Zhang, and Editorial Office of Frontiers of Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine (FOMM)!

We are glad to present the 2025 Annual Report of FOMM:

Till Dec. 31, 2025, FOMM has a total of 47 members on board from 14 countries;
30 articles have been published in 2025 with Review Article and Original Article among the most;
According to the Google Analytics, pageviews reached to about 157,867 in 2025 and 79,179 visitors worldwide, with a majority from USA;

AME and Wolters Kluwer aim to expand access to global medical research through new collaboration

The agreement broadens the reach of nearly 50 Open Access titles, contributing globally to over 5,000 articles

October 2, 2025 — Wolters Kluwer Health announced a new collaboration with AME Publishing Company, an Open Access publisher specializing in medical journals and books, headquartered in Hong Kong, China.

The First Impact Factor for Frontiers of Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine: 0.8

We are pleased to announce that the Frontiers of Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine (FOMM) has attained its first impact factor for the 2024 citation year: 0.8.

Frontiers of Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine 2024 CiteScore Released: 1.2

We are pleased to announce that the <em>Frontiers of Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine </em>(FOMM) has achieved its 2024 CiteScore: 1.2. FOMM ranks as follows across various categories: 354 out of 568 in Surgery, 46 out of 85 in Oral Surgery, and 76 out of 121 in Otorhinolaryngology. This milestone underscores our ongoing commitment to publishing impactful research in the field.

In 2025, many FOMM authors make outstanding contributions to our journal. Their articles published with us have received very well feedback in the field and stimulate a lot of discussions and new insights among the peers.

Frontiers of Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine is indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI): a significant step forward

On March 20, 2024, Frontiers of Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine (FOMM) was selected for coverage in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), which a new index in the Web of Science™ Core Collection. As it’s indexed in ESCI, all articles published after 2022, beginning with 4(1), will be included.
