Mee-Eun Kim, DDS, PhD

Mee-Eun Kim is a professor of the Department of Oral Medicine at Dankook University College of Dentistry and the Department of Orofacial Pain & Oral Medicine of Dankook University Dental Hospital in Cheonan, Republic of Korea. She received a Ph.D in Oral Medicine from Pusan National University in in 1997 and obtained a Diplomate of American Board of Orofacial Pain in 2000. She visited the Facial Pain Clinic of Eastman Dental Hospital in London, UK during a year’s period from Aug 2007. Prof. Kim was qualified as a specialist of Oral Medicine in 2017. She is interested in orofacial pain field, in particular, psychosocial aspects of orofacial pain and neuropathy of orofacial region. She is a member of several professional societies including the Korean Academy of Orofacial Pain & Oral Medicine, Korean Academy of Temporomandibular Disorders (KATMD), Korean Academy for Dental Sleep Medicine (KADSM), Asian Academy of Orofacial Pain & temporomandibular Disorders (AAOT) and International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP). Prof. Kim was a vise-president of the Korean Academy of Orofacial Pain & Oral Medicine and now is a vise-president of the KATMD and KADSM.
