Craig Pearl qualified as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africain 2005. He completed his master’s degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2006. Craig worked in full time private practice from 13 where he developed a special interest in Temporomandibular Joint Disease and Surgical management. He completed additional training in 2015 in surgical management of Orofacial Pain and Headache disorders.

In 2018 he joined the Department Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston as a full- time academic.  He currently works in Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center which is the busiest level 1 trauma emergency room in the United States as well as Ben Taub Hospital where he continues to expand his TMJ and Orthognathic practice.

Craig is involved in various research projects and publications with residents and students based on the high volume of cases seen and treated in these facilities.
